This is Manish from INDIA requiring help regarding installation of QUBE.We have 56 render blades running win 2003 and 1 machine set aside for supervisor also running win 2003.All our machines are under PDC that too is running on same config.Do would like to run the qube under the main PDC admin account.Right now we are using MUSTER but we will be expanding to a huge ENV so i don't think muster will be able to handle the load.

Sorry for being so newbie ???

Hey Manish,

If you have any particular configuration you prefer, please let us know.  As far as that environment, it's actually the ideal windows environment.  In this scenerio, it's cleaner to run the workers using the actual user accounts rather than a proxy user.  This is setup in the Start->Pipelinefx->qube!->Configuration gui.  Set proxy_execution_mode = user.  The supervisor will ask users for their windows password when they login or try to submit a job from qubic.  It is important that they provide the password, or the jobs will be marked as "badlogin".  Once they have logged in, all jobs with "badlogin" state will automatically switch back to pending.

Qube will also automatically map any drives which the users have mounted on their local machine.

If you have any questions, feel free to post to this board with more specific questions on setup.
