Understanding "schedule"
« on: October 13, 2007, 12:58:15 AM »
I'm looking at the worker schedule under QubeGUI.

Is there a way to do a more robust schedule? I have an 8-core host and I'd like to lock 4 cores during work hours and unlock all 8 cores after hours.

Is this possible?

Understanding that you are not actually locking out processor cores, but rather subjob slots, you can right-click on a time(s) in the calendar and after selecting "Lock/Schedule..." type in the number of slots you want to lock out at the time. Say "4" for the times during the day, and "8" for the other times.
