Maxwell and CentOS
« on: March 15, 2011, 04:09:33 PM »
Hi,

I am trying to run a Maxwell rendering job from within Qube. My workers are all running CentOS 5.3 and Qube 5.5.3. The job is sent to the workers, but Maxwell is failing to launch. I can launch Maxwell manually on the workers by using the 'maxwell' command from within the terminal. I am not sure how to get things set up properly within the Maxwell Render Job. The exe parameter only provides job paths for Windows and for OSX not for linux. Can you be of some assistance.

thanks,

Jason

If you know the full path to the maxwell executable, you can type the full path into the exe parameter field and save it as the default with the 'Presets set' button in the submission UI.

To find the full path, login to the linux box and type "which maxwell".  You'll want to use that full path in the exe parameter field.
