cmdlineJob pendiong in hold pattern?

Not sure why but any mayaJob or cmdlineJob I submit from worker or supervisor on leopard with 5.3 is in a perpetual pending pattern; nothing happens. Any idea what is going on?

If you examine the Properties tab in the GUI, it should show the "pending reason." We'd need to know the reason before we can address it.
