malformed resource for? what does this mean?
« on: March 19, 2009, 03:28:33 AM »
Hello,

IT has updated the farm with some new machines and they and now existing ones are displaying negative issues. First they would not pick up on assigned jobs, then they would pick up but drop on and off and now all the jobs with them assigned are showing "bad logins" which means the hosts are not available.

So cleary something is screwy with the install on those boxes...but I am also getting these strange

"malformed property for
malformed resource for "

messages from even properly running jobs.

Any clues as to what is up?

I think it's the first problem you'd described that's giving those "malformed" messages.  With that said, we should focus on fixing the bad login issue.

Does the bad login happens only on your new machines/old machines, or both.  And how often do they happen?

The only time th bad login error comes up is when you're using an user account or there's something wrong with the qubeproxy account.

So are you using user account? or the qubeproxy account? If you're using the qubeproxy account, did you change the default password or anything like that?

thanks for the response. IT was able to figure out the cause of the bad login. Now we are trying to figure out how we can get those jobs running again without having the lighters re submit everything thru Maya.
