Log on / Log off Scripts
« on: February 07, 2008, 05:49:58 PM »
When I run these scripts on machines.

Logon:

qblock --purge %COMPUTERNAME%

Logof

qbunlock %COMPUTERNAME%

The logon does not seem to purge the job running the machine. It will say:

Machine01    2/0 Processors running

And it hangs until I manually either kill the subjob or migrate the subjob.

I want it to automatically purge its host so the user can use his machine without mayabatch renders hanging and taking up Processors.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Tom,

We'd need to look at the relevant sections of the supelog, workerlog, and joblog to get a better understanding of the issue.  Namely, we'd want excerpts of supelog (from the supervisor) and workerlog (from the worker in question) from around the time that this issue was encountered.  We'd also like the joblog folder (found also on the supe machine) of the job that was bumped off from the worker at the time.

Would you zip and email those to support@pipelinefx.com, mentioning this forum thread?  If you need assistance in locating the log files, let us know.

Thanks!

Is there a Log in/Log off option in OSX? Does it work similarly?
