Adobe After Effects CS5.5 Render Problem

Hi we are trying to setup our qube renderfarm to render After Effects jobs.

When we try and render a job on 1 client while the qubeproxy user is logged in the job completes successfully

When any other user or no user is logged in the job completes with no output and the following error in stderr

<Error>:kCGErrorFailure: Set a breakpoint @ CGErrorBreakpoint() to catch errors as they are logged.
_RegisterApplication(), FAILED TO establish the default connection to WindowServer, _CGSDefaultConeection() is NULL

The renderfarm and storage is in a MAC environment

Are you using Mac OSX 10.6 or above? If so, you will have to run your
workers in Desktop mode to work around this limitation of AE.


To do so, log into the worker, start up the QubeGUI, then

QubeGUI -> Admin -> Worker -> Stop
QubeGUI -> Admin -> Worker -> Start as the desktop user
