Maya images directory

I'm rendering out of Maya 2012.

I have no "Images" directory set up in the path, but in the render globals I have a full path set up.

What I would expect is:

     Project/shot/rnd/<version>/<layer>/<layer>

What I get is:

     Project/images/shot/rnd/<version>/<layer>/<layer>

Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Qube! Will not redirrect the paths unless explicitly set in the "RD" section under expert mode of the job submission .

Not having an Images directory will only go on the defaults fot the maya project
