add osx worker to existing Linux qube cluster
« on: September 02, 2009, 10:25:01 AM »
Hi,

I have a Linux supervisor server, version 5.4.1 and 20 Linux workers with the same qube version.
I can see all the servers with the qbhosts command but when I install worker on osx machine, with the same version, I can not see it in the workers list using qbhosts.
qbping to the osx machine, seems to be OK.

Supervisor's log entry for this machine is:
"query for host locks: machine.name.com"

What can be the problem?
Can't I mix environments?

Thanks,
David

I've managed...thanks any way.
Found that except /Applications/pfx/qube/etc/qb.conf file.. there the default one also on osx under /etc.
update /etc/qb.conf solved the problem.

Yes the /etc/qb.conf is the one that Qube uses for storing its parameters on OSX and Linux.
