OSX clients & workers + Win2k server, job submit problem
« on: August 19, 2007, 06:02:51 AM »
Hi everyone,

I am having problem submitting jobs from OSX client to OSX worker in a Win2k AD server environment. The supervisor is also Win2k server.

In order for the worker to parse the script file, I must be logged on the worker machine and with the same user as client to have access to mount points. There's something I'm not doing correctly... but I don't know where.

At the moment I am using Netinfo to mount smb folders from the win2k server, it might not be the best way but, even if I know that OSX can be totally integrated in AD/LDAP by tweaking schema classes and the like, I really don't want to go there for now.

I was using execution mode= proxy without any problem for Windows clients and workers. Then I tried exec mode= user but the results are the same.

Any ideas....

Thanx

eric

I'm not sure I understand what part of the process isn't working.

Are you not able to submit the job?

Is the job not executing?

Is the job failing for some reason?

What is the error message?
