Windows Login
« on: May 19, 2009, 07:11:28 PM »
Greetings

We run Qube in an open lab environment; jobs can be submitted from any one of 40 machines in the labs. I understand that you have to enter your user password (in our case, our Windows credentials) on a station before you are "logged in" to submit jobs.

My question is do you have to repeat this action on every new computer you log into to submit jobs from that particular station, or is the Windows Login dialog for Qube a catch-all that authenticates that username for the whole domain?

Hi Yantor,

You only have to do this once, for each user - you don't have to do it from every workstation, or for every worker. If the user changes their password, they'll have to do it again then, but otherwise, it's just once.

Hope that helps,

Troy
