Qube License Limit Reached!?
« on: September 22, 2009, 05:18:57 PM »
Today while trying to render I noticed a message I’ve never seen before. In the QubeGUI, under status: It reads  (no hosts available in job's host list
qube license limit reached)

And now it is using only 2 processors to render. We have a license for 7 workers and have never seen this before. These worker licenses don’t expire, do they? And even if we have a single license, it’s weird that it’s stopping at 2 processors and not using all of the 4 processors that are available on the cpu.

Anyone now what could be causing this? Thanks,

EDIT:
the command 'qbping' returns a message with 0/2 licenses at the end. What I dont get is even if somehow the licensing got screwed up and I only have 2 licenses working now, why is it only using 2 processors, and not using all available processors on the each CPU. I thought that the licenses are tied to the CPU socket

Hi rtaege,

It sounds like your license expired-- sorry that an automatic refresh did
not go out for some reason.

We've sent you a refresh earlier today, so hopefully that'll get you rolling
soon again.  Thanks!
