Finished Frames show as Failed in Qube
« on: November 18, 2010, 07:21:26 PM »
On a number of jobs we send into Qube, the Qube GUI will show us that frames are failing after spending a reasonable amount of time with each one. Upon inspecting the renders, though, the frames are actually completed. This only seems to happen with Maya jobs set to use RenderMan. We don't get this with Maya software or Mentalray.

Software:
- Qube 6.0.2
- Maya 2009 Service Pack 1a x64 Complete
- RenderMan 4

I've attached the Stdout log for one of our 'failed' shots.

It's because the word 'Error:' is occurring in the output.  The output parser detects this as a reason that the frame should be marked as failed.

Error: (11/17 19:08) rfm Error: S60029 Method 'bakeRadiosity' is not defined in shader 'RenderManEnvLightShape1_rfm'

I seem to remember being able to suppress specific renderman error messages by message code, which in this case would be "S60029".

Can anyone help me out here?  How to do this in RfM?
